AR-15?
.22 AR style rifle, reeeeeeeeee
No I think he's investigating an AR 😂
*me practicing gun safety with an airsoft pistol*
Haha, I do that in my room
He has a .22 but he wants an AR
One that can shoot 223 and 5.56
5.56 barrel ftw
Yeah. Buy one chambered in 5.56
If it's chambered in 5.56 it will shoot both. If it's .223 it will only shoot .223
He knows this
I actually did see a .22LR AR-15 style rifle in my area. Pretty funny sight
I am the newb
That's ok. I'm pretty new to it as well.
I just built my first AR along with my dad.
If you are looking to build, Palmetto State is a good site for kits
I feel this bro <:KEK:726877368601411624>
I was raised in a single mother household, knifes and guns were a "no no". Now I am like "I need to learn this for skills"
For sure. My mom doesn't love the idea of me having a gun, but she realizes I should get mine now just in case I can't later, and that shooting and gun safety is important stuff to know how to do. She and my dad are getting their concealed carry permits soon.
How old are you?
Though my father-in-law is going to teach me, but I want to get comfortable with gun safety a bit before handling an actual one. I am 25
Yeah. That's a good plan.
My mom went with our neighbor to learn to shoot a handgun a couple days ago
My dad doesn't know about it though.
I have fired a pistol. But I am not comfortable handling knowing where the barrel is pointed yet
Yeah, awareness is an important thing to have.
So airsoft pistol it is for now
Ye. That's good that you are able to get some practice like that. Even better in my opinion that you are taking the initiative to do it.
Like, I don't want live in fear of them (I had no knife training (for cooking or cutting boxes open and alike) because my mom was a bit over protective). I want to be able to handle.one to protect myself, family, and my friends if need be.
Of course. It's sad to me that some people just don't see how beneficial they can be, if that makes sense. Especially since they can be used to defend not just yourself, but others. As far as knives go, that's also important. They're a lot more versatile and have a lot of uses as a tool. I personally carry one everywhere but school and other places where they aren't allowed.
I keep two pocket knives on.me sometimes
Glad to hear it.
Never really been a knife guy personally, much rather have a gun. It's so weird with my mom, my grandfather got me a shotgun for my first birthday and I've grown up with guns and most men in my family hunt. However it's kinda freaked her out when she found out I bought my first pistol earlier this year at a gun show and plan to get an AR as soon as the parts get available. She is also still weird about me having a carry permit and always carrying.
One has a seatbelt cutter and a window breaker. The other is just better to me
Hmmmm.
Yeah I have one with the seat belt cutter and window breaker, but mine is kinda cheap.
I am a knife collector at heart XD
Nice. What is your favorite knife?
Not that I can fight with one. I would rather have a gun for that
