So, kind of an odd question about suppressors. If they work by displacing the air and thereby decreasing pressure, would it be possible (theoretically) to incorporate a tesla valve into it so that the pressure is further decreased? I'm not sure how you would make it so the air goes into the valve, but if you could figure that part out I think that could potentially make them even quieter.

Maybe but I don't think so because suppressors don't work by depressurizeing the air. When a bullet is fired the air in the barrel becomes super hot and expands. The silencer has little walls, called baffles, inside which give the air somewhere to go besides just out if the barrel and somewhere to cool down allowing the gas to be released from the barrel slower and therefore quieter. However the tesla coil doesn't have nothing that slows down the air and simply redirects it so the extra time traveling may result in lost energy and make it a little bit quieter but not significantly.

And even if it did work there is no way for the bullet to go out

alright, that makes sense. My thought process was that if you send it down the valve the right way (since a tesla valve is a one-way valve with no moving parts), the air will loop back on itself and make it more difficult for more air to be passed down the tube. As far as the bullet goes, I was thinking you would have a hole down the middle for the bullet, and then on any given side of the suppressor there is a tesla valve that the air can enter into so that it will lose energy/pressure and not be as loud as it escapes the suppressor.
