It’s an air soft mag. Though with a 5.7 you could probably make something similar

You would assemble it about the same way you would on a Lewis gun so with some metal and a few springs it should work

My though process is that it is cheaper to feed than a .22, and quieter for hunting purposes or plinking around the neighbors
