The weight on those panels is actually not to bad, particularly for that price and the fact they are level 4.
So should I get it with ot without the side plates?
I would for the front but go for lv 3 or 3+ for sides
I bought body armor yesterday after all that happened but decided over getting side panels. My logic was while the armor is for a SHTF situation I'm likely going to be facing or away from what ever is shooting at me and not doing maneuvers like the military. I'd rather save the weight for ammo and go with that most people could not hit me from the side while I'm moving.
Once I get the armor I may decide to add some light plates to side but not having had my own armor before I'm not sure how maneuverable I'll be with 11.7 lbs of armor plus the weight of the vest.
Particularly when I'm not exactly in the best shape.
That's why I suggested light exercise with their PC or SBA
What is SBA?
Soft Body Armor
Push ups, Stretches that sort of thing
Maybe squats
Yeah, I invested in hard level 4 because if I need armor, I'll want the most armor I can have. Soft usually only protects you from pistols and has a fianite shelf life while ceramic is mostly indefinite from what I understand now day.
I plan to work out in my apartment with my armor when I eventully get it. Won't go to the gym with it thou because the only gym I have is the one on campus and don't want to freak people out walking in with a full deaked out body armor.
Anyone know if I can buy a gun (ar hopefully) from a gun show? I can buy one at 18 from gun stores, but I can legally buy one under 18 if it's not an authorized retailer. So where would a gun show fall?
I live in SD if it helps
The state
Gun shows are ually authorized dealers now days. The only non is individuals walking around selling. Be warned thou, I had a friend go to a gun show recently and said everything is beyond overpriced there, particularly AR parts. One guy was selling a non coated 16 inch barrel for $400
Yeah, sense your in SD all the people selling is basically a dealer and can run Background checks. If your unsure ask them about the buying process
David was quicker lol
XD
Ok thanks
So I'll have to find a private seller then 😐
Also you don't suppose there's any hope of buying an ar for $400 do you? Hopefully something bigger than .22
Not saying you won't find a unicorn but Good Luck with that
Nah not for 400
Particularly not from a gun show
Yeah..... 😭 😭
https://youtu.be/t6OBk9YBLQU it's really like that tho.
Is there hope of finding even a .22 for $400 or less?
Depends
Nice
Thx
But ARs can get really pricey
