I read an article on *Magic: the Gathering* being a problematic game. One problem cited is that two-fifths of the color pie is racist (black and white specifically). This is a bad take no matter how you view it. If you're on the political left, it's a bad take because the article didn't have a problem with the color red (you know, as in the football team formerly known as the Washington *Red*skins). And if you're on the right, decrying words as racist even in contexts that have nothing to do with race is pretty censorious and puritanical.
The phrase “it’s just a game” is such a weak mindset. You are ok with what happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you stop getting angry after losing, you’ve lost twice. There’s always something to learn, and always room for improvement, never settle.
