Should we pray this October 31 for those lost people who celebrate Halloween thats a day of darkness?

Well yes, but not publically.

I pray for it, as I was raised not celebrating it.

It has really dark and pagan origins

Halloween as an American "holiday" is only a marketing scheme and not evil in nature. Only those that purposely seek its origins worship its darkness.

My church does this really cool thing called a "Night in Bethlehem" every November where they build this really big area that looks like Bethlehem and tell the story of Jesus Christ.

Does anyone know the difference between denominations? I know how Catholicism is different, but not the others

So I am not a super knowledgeable and person but to put it simply: they’re differences in practices, differences in dogma/doctrine, and differences in government

Like in my church we don’t care about the bishops or pope, we are governed by elders in each congregation and our pastors do shenanigans with the denomination (EPC, PCA, PCUSA)

Yeah I don't like the catholicism system with hierarchy, in my church we only had a pastor and the nice ladies who worked at the church
