> He recently endorsed Same Sex marriage in the sense of civil unions, not within the catholic church. Two things can be true at once. (1) Catholics do not agree with gay marriage from the religious union of marriage, but (2) from a civil/governmental standpoint, it doesn't make sense to deny the right to be married in the eyes of the government.
@Froski

Ok, sorry im pretty much drunk and high off my ass when im tired
But I dont drink or do drugs
No worries
Is this talking about how several denominations don’t actually follow the lord’s teachings or what?
Like it appears Catholics have added more methods to get saved that aren’t in the Bible @Christo Clark
@Captain Riker Catholics don't worship the most high God of the bible.
Islam and Catholics worship the same god.

@Captain Riker The difference between true and false conversion.
Makes sense
Protestant best
THAT'S NOT TRUE!!!
Does the Bible kinda confirm magic is real??
Not as you are asking about. It describes rebellion as witchcraft in the new testament. In the old testament soothsaying (asking for wisdom from the dead) is outlawed.
Most magicians (pharaoh's court magicians) practiced soothsaying and the art of deception to perform feats of "magic."
There are no magicians throwing fireballs or shooting lightning as far as my knowledge and understanding goes.
Note: I have not read, nor am I not referencing, the apocrypha (false books), and most of the time people say the Bible confirms magic, they are referring to these books.
*The apocrypha are written by authors who either lie about their identity , have dates origin that contradict their own timeline, or contradict the cannon scripture.
Also, events such as the parting of the Red Sea, fire from the sky, a staff turned into a snake and then back to a staff, are done by God, just through the person preforming the action.
Ok, Thanks.
> Does the Bible kinda confirm magic is real??
@Flint Ansdeal
Yes
What do you mean by it though?
But not the magic of today
Magic today is mostly illusion
There is such a thing in the migration period of England that is wands and staffs inscribed with futhork runes, believed with the ability to cast spells and alter people’s free will, I wander if this magic did exist but was done away with because it was sin...
Same with the Scandinavian countries and even today remote places that still haven’t heard god.
So may it have once existed? In the Bible they mention god commanding the people to do away with amulets and such.
Speaking of Scandinavian countries, we need to make Sweden great again, they were great when they were one of the leaders of Protestantism, now they're in a really bad spot
Hmm. I don’t pay much attention to Sweden right now, what kind of a bad spot?
Last I knew they were the rape capital of the world
Huh. I never would have guessed that.
This would be after they took in a bunch of Middle Eastern refugees, and now there's a movement among those refugees to pretty much flip Sweden upside down
Upside down?
I'm finding what I think I remember
