There is nothing we could ever do to make up for our sins. Only way to heaven is to live a perfect life (only Jesus has ever done it but it's still an option) or believe in Jesus and have him take our punishment on the cross.

When you pray and ask for forgiveness, you don't need to be specific.

@Draconem_Dominus what you experienced was not what Jesus called us to do. We aren't here to judge others, because we're all broken, we're all bad. We're just here to spread the word of God, and love one another.

Think of it like this: How could perfect and just judge (God) allow evil to come into Heaven? That wouldn't be just. But He loves us so much, that he made a way so that we still could.

Yes, there's hypocrites, false teachers, and ones who claim to Christian but are not. But that won't change what God did for you.
Those people will be judged accordingly when the time comes.

See, all these different branches of Catholicism and Christianity are confusing, and some of them are ridiculous, all you need is the Bible. The Bible is the only truth in this world.

God loves you even when you sin, even when you turn from Him.
