So when we see Christ the second time and inhabit the New Kingdom, we won't even be thinking about the horrible thinks that happened to us in the past in a worrisome way. We will see it as something insignificant compared to what we will receive. Paul contemplated something similar. The sufferings and pains in this current age will be an insignificant experience compared to what we will receive in the coming age.
And will haplen
*which is why time travel is impossible because its a when not a where*
I gotcha Smash boy
We can travel to the future, but not the past. To travel to the past, we would need to go faster than the speed of light, which is impossible for all information bearing systems.
While most of my past is great, the time of when it was bad had been insignificant to what happened afterwards. I never thought about it afterwards and still don't
If we are doing a prayer list the mod should pin the message
So this applies in a similar sense
True
Yeah, the experiences are meaningful alright, but compared to what we will receive in the Eternal State, it's kinda nothing, really; what we go through currently.
Ye ik
Its crazy to think that this is but a vapor to the life we will live
Yes
If you surrender to God, he will give the best spouse that is perfect for you and you only.
It is
So if God exists out of time what about Heaven or Hell, or do the two dimensions have their own concept of.time?
I am in the process of that, thanks to @Smash Boy
Right now we are tempted to think it's crazy because we are so used to the experiences we have now. It creates a sort of bias in us about this age. But what we will receive is a life so much better, more fulfilling and more honoring that our pains and problems today will just wither away in a flash.
Hell will also be cast into the lake of fire for eternity. Meaning God doesn't kill the soul
Oh
So he gives them another chance? Or?
Thats up to God
All I know is the bible says Jesus is the only way
Like does he reveal himself to those souls and once confronted with God immediately they realize how wrong and guilty they were?
I mean it would make sense or could it depend
Hell, properly understood, is a place of unquenchable shame and disgrace. People there will have lives worst than those who live on the lam and ghettos. Running away from God but can't because they know He is omnipresent, but they won't feel His immediate glorious providence like believers will because God has given them what they wanted: separation from God.
Complete
Seperation
Yikes...
They won't get a second chance, because they *won't want one*.
It is why Jesus yelled father why have you forsaken me
I see...
That's cuz the teachers of the law are hypocrite and made lives of the Jews horrible
When God is anger, it's called righteous anger.
When Jesus died he felt that full separation of god
I also never participate in Halloween, simply because The Devil does NOT play games.
Dressing up as some scary figment of imagination such as a Vampire does not seem okay to me at all.
And saying "but its just pretending" is an excuse
Cause he took the weight of all our sins that day
You people need to understand that the condemnation of Hell comes at Judgment Day, where people will realize that Jesus is Lord, and they continually hate Him, those that refuse to accept Christ prior to the Resurrection. At that point, those who hated God will see Him in all His glory and will hate him and would want nothing to do with Him. He won't send them to Hell, the unbelievers will choose Hell because the alternative is to be in His Eternal Immediate Presence. From that day forward, all they've done in the past an what they see in the believers will be an eternal reminder of their failures and disgrace.
Matthew 27:46
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Yes that verse
Oh wow...that's scary
