If it were false, it would still operate in a similar fashion as to what hysterical strength inhibitors do for us. Without the nerve blocks, our muscle will rip us apart. Throwing out God leads to the very real risk of people finding something else to Deify. Whether it be Race, culture, or Nation. When any stand as rivals to God, ruin follows. Whether it be ruin one's home, or worse, ones soul.

You either spend it in Hell or with Jesus, what we do in this life decides which

I’ve heard of people who don’t study revelations because hell is to scary, but boy is there a lot In revelations tho.

If Jesus didn't come to earth to die on the cross, we'd all have no chance to not go to Hell

I'm not consumed by it. It I were to ponder where I'll end up, that is more time I invest in my own fears, instead of helping others or improving myself.

Purgatory is a Catholic concept. A place where someone goes to pay for their sins to prepare for heaven

You wont find purgatory in the bible.

Purgatory is only taught by the Catholic church, so outside of Catholic beliefs, you won't find it anywhere in Christianity

Its not inaction that causes purgatory its simply a lack of enough wrong to go to hell so just repent for stuff

And I'm fine not believing in purgatory but cheese

The best is to be a good person. Or at least pursue it with every fiber of your being.

But I think Paul says works without faith is dead

If you have faith, you will act. They go hand in hand.

When I mean "good", I mean acting in a manner closest to Christ that you can manage. It will always, of course, pale in comparison, that I don't dispute.
