Im just saying

2020-12-20 07:28:59 UTC

We aren’t clones of him either. If we were clones of Him we would also be clones of each other. Created in Gods image means that we were given things that his other creations were not. A lot of people truly believe, and the belief has basis, that we are the only beings God created that God actually loves

2020-12-20 07:29:48 UTC

Sorry I may have ping the worng person to see if they know

2020-12-20 07:29:52 UTC

We do have early christian documents on the proper formula of baptism...i saw something about "the didache" .

2020-12-20 07:29:57 UTC

Yeah from what I know purgatory is pretty well disproved in the Bible HOWEVER I want to discuss this more with you because I have heard and read and thought something interesting on the matter

2020-12-20 07:30:07 UTC

aren't we clones of each other? that's why god creates babel, meant to drive us apart

2020-12-20 07:30:37 UTC

Right now I'm watching the lord of the rings lol

2020-12-20 07:30:42 UTC

Jesus died for everyone. You don't have to feel guilty because Jesus died for your sins. Take a leap of faith and accept Him.

2020-12-20 07:31:02 UTC

from different language to different religions and different regions that we live in

2020-12-20 07:31:10 UTC

No, we created Babel. God told us to spread across the earth far before then and we were already diverse. What God did at Babel was simply scramble up our languages

2020-12-20 07:31:49 UTC

He also didn’t send us to specific regions

2020-12-20 07:31:59 UTC

This isn't star wars lol

2020-12-20 07:32:00 UTC

We just kinda got upset with each other and spread out

2020-12-20 07:32:02 UTC

I think the moral of the story of the tower of babel was "man's arrogance screws himself again".

2020-12-20 07:32:06 UTC

same difference, though, no? we were building castles and erecting towers. and god doesn't like it, so he scrambles up the language

2020-12-20 07:32:26 UTC

Also explains why different languages exist

2020-12-20 07:32:45 UTC

Yeah, that too

2020-12-20 07:32:49 UTC

No, we were directly disobeying God AGAIN and then we also said, “let’s just pretend like we are gods”

2020-12-20 07:33:06 UTC

well, no. i'm saying by having different language and regions of living wouldn't our ideas naturally diverge?

2020-12-20 07:33:13 UTC

So God said, “you didn’t spread out before but you will now”

2020-12-20 07:33:54 UTC

Kind of, yes. We see a lot of very similar mathematics show up in very different areas at the same time

2020-12-20 07:34:13 UTC

Good night!

2020-12-20 07:34:17 UTC

true. but god still scrambled up the language, which further driven people away from each other. i highlighted that passages specifically so i'm pretty sure i'm correct. although it may be different intepretation

2020-12-20 07:34:55 UTC

Yes, people spread out. What I was saying there is that the point you stated was incorrect

2020-12-20 07:35:00 UTC

True some gifts are horrible 😂 but a real and loving parents would see the love of child over the gift.

2020-12-20 07:35:08 UTC

That would mean God is not powerful and is weak.

2020-12-20 07:35:16 UTC

God didn’t do this on a whim over something that wasn’t significant

2020-12-20 07:35:32 UTC

Well, I don't think that a "lesser" being can defeat His creator. Especially when the lesser being is faced with handicaps...being the lesser. It's sort of like the watch and the watchmaker.

2020-12-20 07:35:39 UTC

true. but still. mortals should at least gave god something he likes

2020-12-20 07:36:03 UTC

You are right here

2020-12-20 07:36:41 UTC

What God likes is for us to be in His presence and to accept the Love that He wants to give us

2020-12-20 07:36:44 UTC

no. my point was: if you're living further apart AND then added language barriers you can not easily communicate with each other, thus creating more conflicts.

2020-12-20 07:36:59 UTC

The glory of God is so great that human tremble. Angel's glory is great too you can see instance is the bible where people tremble when they seen an angel. Imagine what the glory of God is. It unimaginable

2020-12-20 07:37:00 UTC

That’s what He likes, but apparently some mortals don’t like being loved

2020-12-20 07:37:48 UTC

It can go the other way too...bot somehow we tend to screw that up too. 🤦‍♀️

2020-12-20 07:37:51 UTC

I don't think angels can give glory to people

2020-12-20 07:37:53 UTC

that's fair, i supposed. again, i don't doubt god's power to squash the rebellions

2020-12-20 07:38:08 UTC

The only reason that the conflicts were there or that a change in language was needed is that they weren’t obeying God to begin with. By staying in that city they were raising the chances of destroying themselves

2020-12-20 07:38:17 UTC

original sin goes: y'all miss me <:KEK:726877368601411624>

2020-12-20 07:38:44 UTC

The glory of God is so great that it would kill a human to even glimpse it

2020-12-20 07:39:23 UTC

No babel was the human version of people trying to be God.
