My bad lol
thank you. not many people likes my sarcasm š
God literally told humans to spread out and multiple
What religion has like 1 billion gods and keep adding for every new thing there is
I just want to reiterate. The actual towers were insignificant. God doesnāt want to make us āweakerā either! He wants to make us A LOT stronger. The issue with living in a large group is that conflict sprouts a lot quicker and so does sin. We had to to split up for our own food but we were too blind to see it
Exactly
which i still don't really get, from god? like, he knows the original sin are in our DNA, right? why would he encourage us to multiple if it meant more sinners?
The Woke SJW Cult
Traditional Greek polytheism and same with Roman polytheism and Hinduism
Ah
We begin to agree lol
that's a fair interpretation, i think. i'll reread the bible to see it under this lens
God is seeking a relationship with mankind. God is sinless and therefore he communion with sinless. Humans are sinful therefore God can't communion with us. But God had a solution which is Jesus. His death allowed us to have a communion with God. Some people just don't want to have a relationship with Him. The best gift you can give God is a relationship with Him.
If you want someone to re read the Bible with Iāll try to make time. Iād hop in a vc depending on what time lol
i'm listening to the bible audio book someone sent me (i think it's the king james' version? can't remember) but thank you! i'll probably hop back in here when i have some questions again
Explain elijah and more people in the old testament
Hey I been reading the Bible all year so maybe i can join too
Bro please switch to ESV. Iāve been a Christian for a couple years and read the Bible a couple times by now... the KJV is not where itās at
sure. but what if some people thinks they are not worthy of a relationship with him? like, they want it, but they don't think they are capable of his attention
No I was just comparing God's vs angel s glory. People tremble when they see an Angel. Now imagine what would happen if they see God. Bible tells us humans will die if they see God(OT)
Sorry y'all talk too fast. I'm catching up on all the conversation
aren't they all the same? i thought it's just different voice
oof sorry bud š
Hinduism

Again man, a lot of Christians feel this way lol. I feel this way at times. What we lowly humans have to understand is that as long as we make the choice to jump GOD will GUARANTEED catch us
I think there is a story telling us that a man did and he went blind
only if we agree with god, though. god won't be there if you don't agree with him
No, lol. KJV is a more āeditorializedā version. It was made by one skewed church at the bad commission of a king so that it would be confusing. Itās a pretty bad interpretation if Iām being honest
that sounds like the artemis story?
If you tell God not to catch you then He wonāt catch you. Itās your choice
Artemis?
Yeah, and we can go to the greek, hebrew or latin for reference. We do have those manuscripts.
Iām unaware of this story
lol i got the KJV version from a ranting and raving dude yelling at me saying the bible saved his life and push the KJV version at me
Before the flood, human DNA was corrupt. Nephielliem , fallen angel had sex with humans and was trying to destroy human DNA, change Gods plan. In Garden of Eden, God gave a solution to fix fall of mankind. He will crush the head of the serpent.
yeah. the story was a man accidentally stumbled on artemis bathing nude, so she blinded him but allowed him the ability to foresee the future
Oog, please no KJV. If you want to spend money on a really solid translation with study help then I recommend the Sourgeon Study Bible. Olive tree Bible app on phone is also good for going mobile
I recommend the ESV translation
