Muhammad was illiterate. Everything in his book he heard from others

2020-12-30 15:16:57 UTC

"The Quran is thought by Muslims to be not simply divinely inspired, but the literal word of God. Muhammad did not write it as he did not know how to write. According to tradition, several of Muhammad's companions served as scribes, recording the revelations."

2020-12-30 15:17:29 UTC

Okay

2020-12-30 15:17:50 UTC

Muhammad also says "we" when referring to him and God

2020-12-30 15:19:03 UTC

Either way, I don't agree with the Qur'an after reading it.

2020-12-30 15:19:15 UTC

Idk if you can be certain of that as you haven't read the original Qur'an.
I'll read it for myself and will decide from there-

2020-12-30 15:19:16 UTC

It is not a peaceful religion

2020-12-30 15:19:49 UTC

It actually really is-

But one of their rules is to follow the law of the land-

2020-12-30 15:19:55 UTC

It doesn't hold the same standards that Jesus, our savior, taught

2020-12-30 15:19:58 UTC

Dude

2020-12-30 15:20:04 UTC

Wait until you read it

2020-12-30 15:20:25 UTC

Just make sure you firmly know where you stand with Jesus before you do

2020-12-30 15:20:50 UTC

Because clearly, you are doubting Jesus as the only way to God

2020-12-30 15:21:18 UTC

This is part of what turns people away from Christianity.

2020-12-30 15:21:42 UTC

The fact that people question yet get questioned for questioning

2020-12-30 15:21:57 UTC

Its good for people to question because it means they care.

2020-12-30 15:23:14 UTC

There is also a difference between saying truth and non truth

2020-12-30 15:23:34 UTC

But there are ways to spread truth without turning people away

2020-12-30 15:23:34 UTC

Either Jesus was always the messiah or he wasn't

2020-12-30 15:23:48 UTC

He either died on the cross for our sins or faked it

2020-12-30 15:24:08 UTC

No there isn't

2020-12-30 15:24:21 UTC

Jesus spoke truth and people turned away

2020-12-30 15:24:33 UTC

Paul spoke truth and people turned away

2020-12-30 15:24:51 UTC

Now, people speak truth and people turn away

2020-12-30 15:25:02 UTC

Not everyone who hears the truth will be saved

2020-12-30 15:25:52 UTC

*sighs*
There are ways to speak truth to people who are questioning without turning them away. Some people just won't listen, but those who are willing to listen need to be told by the right person in the right way.

2020-12-30 15:27:54 UTC

I constantly question. But I know what I believe to be true. God healed my knee. I was part of a miracle I didn't expect. I know God loves me from that. The reason I am being blunt is because I don't want you questioning every moment

2020-12-30 15:28:37 UTC

The part I question is because I don't spend the time I should reading and delving into God's word to k ow the truth as a solid rock

2020-12-30 15:28:39 UTC

I'm 14, of course I'm going to question. I have my life ahead of me, miracles awaiting. Just right now I'm not certain.

2020-12-30 15:28:50 UTC

There is no more hidden truth.

2020-12-30 15:29:10 UTC

At 14 I was a rebel

2020-12-30 15:29:39 UTC

I gave up trying to be a goodie two shoes because the world could have been my friend

2020-12-30 15:29:48 UTC

I messed up that young

2020-12-30 15:30:03 UTC

If you question something, go to the Bible first.

2020-12-30 15:30:12 UTC

See if you can find the answer there

2020-12-30 15:30:38 UTC

But if what I'm questioning is the Bible that would just confuse me more.

2020-12-30 15:30:52 UTC

No

2020-12-30 15:31:03 UTC

The Bible sharpens itself

2020-12-30 15:31:22 UTC

There may be confusing parts, but you can ask someone to explain it

2020-12-30 15:32:27 UTC

But even if I ask them, doesnt mean they have it right, either

2020-12-30 15:33:07 UTC

Ask God for clarity
