There is no more hidden truth.
At 14 I was a rebel
I gave up trying to be a goodie two shoes because the world could have been my friend
I messed up that young
If you question something, go to the Bible first.
See if you can find the answer there
But if what I'm questioning is the Bible that would just confuse me more.
No
The Bible sharpens itself
There may be confusing parts, but you can ask someone to explain it
But even if I ask them, doesnt mean they have it right, either
Ask God for clarity
You also have a whole chat group here
We would be more than happy to point you to even different youtube videos
But something to look into
Homiletics
It helps
I just- Right now is confusing, and it's going to take me a while to find out what I believe. Right now I don't think this can help me, only turn me away more. But thank you for trying to help.
I'll be praying for you
Please be careful though as you look into things
I kind of agree with Kit, but I'm glad you are trying to take the steps to find out for yourself. In my religion one of the most important things to us is to find out for ourselves whether or not we believe in the things we are taught. Even at the end of our book of Mormon we are told to ask God whether or not the things in the book are true. So personally, I think you should just keep asking. By asking (with the right mindset of course) we humble ourselves and come to God looking for answers. In that state (I have found personally) that it is easier to receive them if it is the right time or right question. I had some trials of faith when I was 14 as well. I made some mistakes, but they helped me come closer to God. So just be sure that when you are asking, do it with the intent to learn for yourself, and to learn the truth.
Thought it was pretty good
nah im just playing with you man
If the letter j wasnt invented until 1526 the jesus was yesus
Sometimes god should do some more Old Testament shit like flooding people
The English spelling for Iēsous is “Jesus.” transliterated from Hebrew into Greek.
Cool
[5] A man needs wisdom
if he plans to wander widely;
life is easier at home.
He’ll be laughed at
if he sits among the wise
and has nothing to say.
There's a difference between earthly wisdom and divine wisdom; only through walking with the Spirit will you unlock the divine
Is that a verse from the Havamal?
no, just something about wisdom
from? or is it your own quote?
scripture
of?
there's mention of earthly wisdom and divine wisdom in the Bible.
you may be asking how that's relevant; simple answer is that it relates to wisdom
i see
um I know this is a stupid question but
are Christians allowed to play first person shooter games?
