@vocal†rance we used apple wood for the smoke. I did not brine it. Used a Meat Church Honey Hog dry rub in it then used the mop sauce from the All Thing BBQ link I posted earlier. It was an 8 hour cook

I found blackthorn berries in the wild and harvested them. Making juice and wine from them

There's a local small business owner supper market in town I have been meaning to try even though I usually go to Publix. However I just checked their prices and they are cheap for meat. I just checked this online ad and they are selling same day ground beef for $1.79 a lb, New York strip steak for $6.98 a lb, and boston butts for 99¢ a lb.

My local butcher sells New York Strip for $12.99 a pound, but im in cali so everything's inflated
