Mines a weird 96

2020-08-29 17:42:15 UTC

It has downward “air scoops”

2020-08-29 17:43:17 UTC

I like that color

2020-08-29 17:43:48 UTC

Gorgeous car

2020-08-29 17:44:36 UTC

They're fast for the money, too

2020-08-29 17:44:40 UTC

^

2020-08-29 17:44:53 UTC

Nice sports car

2020-08-29 17:45:05 UTC

Sad the government shit down the Pontiac branch tho smh

2020-08-29 17:45:20 UTC

I'm gonna wind up spending a lot more money on my car to get a vehicle that's probably only just as fast

2020-08-29 17:45:28 UTC

XD-

2020-08-29 17:46:00 UTC

Ours just needs a new roof, sound system, and the gas tank/lines either replaced or hopefully cleaned and repaired

2020-08-29 17:46:14 UTC

My vette needs pretty much everything lol

2020-08-29 17:46:23 UTC

I have an 1988 cadillac seville that was a project hand-me-down from my grandpa.
It needs some work hasn't really ran since 2009

2020-08-29 17:46:34 UTC

Jeez

2020-08-29 17:46:50 UTC

88 Seville? That's got the 4.1 liter V8 in it, right?

2020-08-29 17:47:07 UTC

This one has the 4.5 V8

2020-08-29 17:47:42 UTC

The 4.1 was a clusterfuck of bad engineering and junk electronics technology. Not sure about the 4.5

2020-08-29 17:49:45 UTC

This one seemed to have no electrical issues that I know of so far. Let's hope this one isn't as bad as that lol

2020-08-29 17:50:21 UTC

The vette needs to be rewired because one of the previous jackass owners butchered the harness

2020-08-29 17:51:26 UTC

Didn't know what they were doing

2020-08-29 17:52:42 UTC

Nice vette btw

2020-08-29 17:56:14 UTC

Thanks. It's a 69, 4 speed car

2020-08-29 17:56:27 UTC

*Funny number*

2020-08-29 17:57:03 UTC

The lady will love it

2020-08-29 17:57:23 UTC

Only got room for one so I get to be picky

2020-08-29 17:57:47 UTC

Seems about right

2020-08-29 17:58:40 UTC

I've spent like 3 or 4 grand on it in the last couple of months, lol

2020-08-29 23:02:05 UTC

A couple nights ago my 1987 Acura Integra’s red PGM-FI light came on while driving. I returned home and turned off the car and turned it back on and it didn’t come on the whole time I was driving. I’m not too worried but I think I need to keep a better eye on my engine now for potential problems because if it’s too much I won’t have a car anymore...

2020-08-29 23:28:48 UTC

PGM-FI light?

2020-08-29 23:29:25 UTC

@Plague Doctor Lawrence Can you tell me what that is?

2020-08-29 23:42:48 UTC

It’s a primitive check engine light referring to the Programed Fuel Injection system.

2020-08-29 23:47:52 UTC

@ThatShadyVandal It’s the only really digital system on the whole car so it needs to run diagnostics on the whole car and like the rest of the vehicle it’s very old and has almost enough quirks to become sentient.

2020-08-29 23:48:25 UTC

It could of been a false alarm.

2020-08-29 23:48:36 UTC

Not sure about old Acuras, but on pre-96 OBD1 chevies and fords you can pull the codes with a paper clip

2020-08-29 23:50:41 UTC

96 is when the digital car system was standardized and all cars used the same plug. In 87 is was different for every make and model of car and most didn’t even have an access point to the built in computer.

2020-08-29 23:50:55 UTC

Yeah

2020-08-30 02:40:38 UTC

When your trucks diff needs a rebuild but you don’t really wanna deal with it

2020-08-30 02:53:25 UTC

Oof

2020-08-30 02:53:54 UTC

I saw some guy leaving from where I work one time and he gave it a little gas and the rear diff exploded

2020-08-30 16:49:35 UTC

Some of my favorite classic American muscle / sports cars!
