Nice!
That thing is mint. Tell me about it
I paid 800 for it did a little engine work rebuilt the carburetor and it runs like new. It has the original engine and transmission in it with like 60000 miles on it though it still needs interior work and a paint job
@Lucario you sir, have found a gem. lucky bastard.
But this thing was probably 3500 new back in 65
Beautiful
Sure is.
CAI worth it or not
@Lucario that’s a beautiful car! What are your plans with it?
Had a little car photo shoot today
I’m going to make bring it back as original as I can. It now runs it just needs cosmetic work like a paint job headliner and the seats need work
That’s awesome!
That’s what I do with my cars as original as possible and if I do modify it, it gets modified to how it was back then, for example, the green car has a 200ci in it right now, it isn’t running good, at all, burning oil very bad! I don’t feel like rebuilding the motor when I was given a free 302 small block, I plan on rebuilding the motor completely stock to how it was back in 1972. The car came with it as an option back in 1972 other wise I wouldn’t put it in
Lowered the front end of the old girl hella today
Looking good
Thanks bro, I'm stoked about the ride height up front
Getting a new car soon hopefully. Going to the dmv for my driver's license test Friday
@ThatShadyVandal that’s sweet
Was gonna be back in March until a certain virus happened
Once I drop this thing in the back and put taller and fatter tires on it, it's gonna look menacing
> Was gonna be back in March until a certain virus happened
@Anony 115 that sucks, I’ve got a 2 month expired license because of the stupid virus
I plan on running a 295 on all four
I gotta go see what they are real quick they are wide tires
295/50/15
It's about a 26.5 inch tall tire that's about 11 inches wide at the tread pattern
Thats a pretty common size tire
The 295/50s are about an inch and a half shorter and an inch wider than what you have
I couldn’t remember if they were 255 or 275, my dad had them on his 1968 impala but he put a disc brakes on it after that they didn’t fit anymore, so we traded wheels. Both of our cars have rally wheels
The rims are 15x8 in the rear.
To change the rear wheels I have to drop the rear shock to get them on/off lmao
My car has 15x10 wheels on all four
The Vette?
Yep
Wow that’s cool
Thats not stock
Someone before me flared the fenders 3 inches
I know, you don’t have the wheel wells to rub like I do
I do, but they just ran more negative offset, lol
That and they’re flared out more
Yeah
