Well, there’s a bit of confusion about that whole thing, originally it was the staff of Asclepius (greek god of medicine), witch is just a staff with a snake on it. but it got confused with the caduceus, the staff of the messenger god hermes, witch looks like the one up there, but the staff’s were mixed up.

and that’s why you see it at medical places.

Its actually just dry-erase marker, it works surprisingly well and usually doesn’t bleed (too) much.
i also didn’t have anything else.
