That’s why I’ve never wanted a doggy door.

Doesn’t feel safe, but I’m not sure of the stuff they sell, maybe there’s a safe one and all that.

Doggy doors aren’t very good for insulating warm air...

That’s another reason I’d never get one.

I can vouch for everything they listed. Raccoons, other cats, dogs, small children, and the occasional gator. You can guess where I live.
