I fucking can’t stand my senator Ed Markey...
He was literally asked “how will you make the chamber more bipartisan”
And starts his response with
“WE NEED TO GET RID OF DONALD TRUMP!!!!”

I voted O’Connor but he doesn’t stand a chance in this state... especially since Dr. Shiva is splitting the vote a little bit with write ins

I wasn't too convinced with Shiva, probably giving my vote to O'Connor.

Me neither, but at all the trump gatherings I see his signs too, and he’s still running ads making me believe he’s going to get a decent amount of write ins

Thus dividing the conservative vote

And O’Connor’s going to need every damn vote to even have a tiny chance

He probably will get a lot of write ins, but I don't think it's too likely that we get a Republican senator any time soon anyway so O'Connor is fighting a losing battle. Most people that listen to the leftist crap in this state can hardly even stand our "republican" governor

I didn’t become interested in politics until the 2016 election (back when I was a leftist and wanted Hillary, and cried when she lost)

I’ve got a republican state representative atleast that’s something

lol i will say that i wasnt too interested in politics back in 2016 and I just kind of sat back and laughed at a bunch of my friends that wanted hillary to win cause it was such an upset. But now i moved into a more conservative area (plymouth county) and the way they do the districts in this damn state means that we cant even have as much as a republican representative

cause they count us in with south boston

even though my town and the ones neighboring are like a 70% red voting area

Facts, my state senate includes needham/Brookline to outweigh our more centrist votes

And my US rep district goes from Brookline to rehoboth

So stupid

thats how they play games with house seats

I have a friend who lives in central MA and it’s a mostly conservative area, but then they add Worcester to her district which is why she’s represented by a democrat...

and people say gerrymandering helps republicans
