Abortion isn't a question about legality or safety, it's a question of morality

2020-10-26 19:32:59 UTC

It is morally WRONG to murder an unborn child, unless the mother's life is at risk

2020-10-26 19:37:14 UTC

Yeah the only reason I would ever consider it is when my own life is at risk or something extreme like that. But besides of that.... Learn how to protect yourself. Take the baby pill, use condoms. It's easy

2020-10-26 19:37:49 UTC

the best way to stop abortion is better sex ed, not making it illegal

2020-10-26 19:38:35 UTC

> ok, the problem is as follows, an abortion is, in a vast majority of cases done is a last resort within the first 22 weeks. And back alley abortions are super dangerous. so in short it is a matter of safety and I understand exactly where you are coming from.
@chaz So.. because a woman is willing to risk her life in a back alley abortion, we should make it so anyone who wants to can ‘kill off their kid’ because they aren’t ready for the responsibility of parenthood? Adoption is always an option. And frankly if you’re not ready for a child, either safe sex or abstinence should be practiced. A human being shouldn’t be stripped from their rights, and their life for that matter because caution wasn’t taken.

2020-10-26 19:38:45 UTC

No. Making it illegal would stop it. Just like before it was widely available the "back alley" abortions that everybody cites were not really a thing.

2020-10-26 19:39:58 UTC

@SykoticTwig Not the place for memes. Go put it in a meme channel.

2020-10-26 19:40:08 UTC

My bad

2020-10-26 19:40:30 UTC

Im just afraid of trump supporters not voting thinking he will win.

2020-10-26 19:41:04 UTC

Most Trump supporters that I know will vote for him, even if they think he will win, because they are actually excited to vote.

@Froski
It will stop most but not completely

2020-10-26 19:42:23 UTC

Yes, not all. There is no way to stop all of anything. But making it illegal would lead to legal culpability.

"mostly peaceful protests"

2020-10-26 19:43:35 UTC

@Al <3 but it should be legal for cases in which it is dangerous or nessacary, alot do put up for adoption, but it should be nessaracy as a last possible resort, say codemn breaks and pills don;t work

2020-10-26 19:44:27 UTC

> @Al <3 but it should be legal for cases in which it is dangerous or nessacary, alot do put up for adoption, but it should be nessaracy as a last possible resort, say codemn breaks and pills don;t work
@chaz so what you're saying is that it should ONLY be legal when a potential mother's life is at risk, correct?

2020-10-26 19:45:02 UTC

or it would destroy her life, one good life or two terrible ones

2020-10-26 19:46:02 UTC

I’m sorry but “destroying one’s life” is not the same. We should not reason that we can murder someone because the outcome from their own actions inconvenience them.

2020-10-26 19:47:06 UTC

exactly when is the line in the sand drawn, and why not say, one femtosecond later or sooner?

2020-10-26 19:48:09 UTC

for instance allowing an abortion while crowning is heinous, but banning it at conception is absurd

2020-10-26 19:48:25 UTC

> @Al <3 but it should be legal for cases in which it is dangerous or nessacary, alot do put up for adoption, but it should be nessaracy as a last possible resort, say codemn breaks and pills don;t work
@chaz If the mother’s life is at risk..? honestly I’m not sure. That’s a grey area for me. I suppose it depends on the specific situation. And as I said.. if someone isn’t in the place to have a child, they shouldn’t have sex. Pregnancy is always a risk of intercourse. Someone shouldn’t loose their life, or not even get an opportunity to live because of another’s selfishness.

2020-10-26 19:49:02 UTC

We must define when someone is in fact someone, declaring someone is presumptive and loaded

2020-10-26 19:49:41 UTC

Im with @chaz on this

2020-10-26 19:49:49 UTC

It’s a human.. regardless of their stage of development

2020-10-26 19:49:53 UTC

abortian should be legal within one month, when there is not a nervous system but rather a mass of stem cells.

2020-10-26 19:49:58 UTC

just saying, can't be any "moral ambiguity", nail it down to an exact science, with clear logically supported reasons

2020-10-26 19:50:07 UTC

@Sengorn Leopardae I disagree there. Abortion is murder no matter the time frame. From the moment of conception that is a separate set of DNA, a separate life. Nobody has the right to determine what life has the ability to live. If someone has sex, they should be able to live with the consequences.

2020-10-26 19:50:21 UTC

So you're vegan?

2020-10-26 19:50:36 UTC

wait, plants are still yet life also

2020-10-26 19:50:45 UTC

If a fetus is not considered alive then why is planned parenthood harvesting organs from them?

2020-10-26 19:50:47 UTC

Also, Chaz, inviting your friends to back you up doesn’t help here.

2020-10-26 19:50:50 UTC

no emotional arguments, pure logic only

2020-10-26 19:51:00 UTC

boy I dont know Bishop

2020-10-26 19:51:03 UTC

I think this is a discussion for a different chanel

2020-10-26 19:51:16 UTC

ok where to?

2020-10-26 19:51:22 UTC

Also, @Sengorn Leopardae a human life. Prefer that designation? And emotions is the best way to argue with lefties.

2020-10-26 19:51:39 UTC

Take it to <#727615870385389638>

2020-10-26 19:51:53 UTC

emotion is what drives man, do you dissagree with kant and thomas moore?

2020-10-26 19:52:58 UTC

I swear I might just wear a fucking maga hat to spite the leftist idiots at my school

2020-10-26 19:53:36 UTC

Calling someone who does not agree with homosexuality because of religion and personal problems a homophobe is the stupidest thing I’ve heard all week

2020-10-26 19:54:04 UTC

go right ahead, you have freedom of speech and eprestion, if anyone judges you, ask them for a polite disscuation rather than mindless hate
