Actually less than 2% of abortions are done for medical reasons. All the other 97.7% are done as a contraceptive.

There is tons of evidence available supporting this fact. I can make it all available for you. Also, the majority of Planned Parenthood are in low income areas and in black communities. Black babies account for 38% of all abortions while they make up less than 13% of the community and unfortunately, the welfare state has removed the father from the home which may be the number one cause.of abortion.

Birth control pills are cheap. Like $15 a month. Condoms are free in most medical centers. There are many options out there... But it doesn't address the root of the problem. Broken homes, lack of opportunity in low income areas. I really like the President's Platinum Plan. It addresses the roots of the issue.

Sex ed is a good idea... But who should be teaching sexual education to your kids? You or some creep perv teacher who you've never talked to?

Sometimes it's easier to talk to strangers about awkward conversations, but if you have even a shred of respect for yourself or your children, you should do whatever you can to help educate your children because when it comes down to it, real education is in your hands

I wouldn't say all the teachers who teach sex ed are pervs
generally the health teachers teach it, but they normally cover STDs, safe sex, and encourage abstinence

I can agree with that, but some of them are, and you take a risk with it. I feel like the majority of teachers these days are usually pretty left leaning.

I'm still in high school but we barely went over sex ed

We had one or two days of a speaker coming in to talk about stds and that was pretty much it

most of the sex ed is moved to 8th grade but it's the same STD education

and then they give statistics about contraceptives but abortion is never brought up

Abortion is never brought up? With something that has such massive consequences it would make sense that it would be covered. Abortion is the only genocide happening in the US

I don't think there's a perfect solution but if the schools are going to have sex ed then they should at least cover abortion and how it works and not sugar coat anything

I think it's a parents duty to sex Ed their kids. My mum bought me a book when I was 9 and then had just very basic and child friendly sex ed in school at 10 years old and then again in school (more serious) with 12 but thanks to my mum, I already knew a lot before school
