My mom is now studying for her citizenship bc she's a permanent green card holder but during the trump adminstration she was fed all these lies that she'll be deported
Even though my sister and I have a pretty good understanding of the government and we're trying to explain it to her she still has a smugness about it and she doesn't seem to actually grasp anything about the US government

Example: 25 amendment=overthrowing the president
