“Liberal” governors that dont allow their citizens basic constitutional rights

2020-12-05 02:23:28 UTC

technically, it is. the cases are shooting up, the death rate are similar as previous during lockdown. the economic is shutting down in different states, while others are open up and operating as normal. so US is rounding the corner, some people don't want to believe it

2020-12-05 02:24:13 UTC

Mhm

2020-12-05 02:24:35 UTC

you can absolutely criticize many world leaders for not doing enough. but when the lockdown that was initially set as 15 days extended to 1 full year, you kind of doubt the experts

2020-12-05 02:24:43 UTC

Why do you think the cases in America shot up quick starting in March?

2020-12-05 02:25:05 UTC

That's how a virus generally works

2020-12-05 02:25:06 UTC

if Trump did it so bad, why dont we talk about China who started this whole thing?

2020-12-05 02:25:12 UTC

Initial wave. It went as quick as it came

2020-12-05 02:25:25 UTC

A pandemic ... a few weeks long?

2020-12-05 02:25:27 UTC

With no built up immunity of any kind in a country. The beginning of a virus is going to be more drastic

2020-12-05 02:25:36 UTC

Trump was right in that sense

2020-12-05 02:25:38 UTC

It's hard to credit it as effective, here in MB were in a terrible lockdown and case numbers are the same

2020-12-05 02:25:56 UTC

granted school is still open but we are in full lockdown basically

2020-12-05 02:26:02 UTC

Oof.

3-4 days before the symptoms showed (assuming the "initial" patient 0 isn't actually not asymptotic)

2020-12-05 02:26:13 UTC

I'm not anti-Trump, I'm just wondering about it

2020-12-05 02:26:16 UTC

I mean I’m not offended tbh

2020-12-05 02:26:19 UTC

As an Asian

2020-12-05 02:26:43 UTC

Cases numbers are the new goalpost, meaning if I'm not sick yet test positive with a faulty test it's another case added to the fear propaganda

2020-12-05 02:27:06 UTC

Exactly this. Also when half the “experts” don’t obey their own guidelines and rules, why should we care to follow them? My own states governor did it at a crowded beach breaking his own rules and has broken his own regulations many times

2020-12-05 02:27:26 UTC

i completely agree with the initial 15 days. then i become suspicious when it becomes 1 month. then i squint when it becomes 2, then eventually 3, months. then protests broke out and everybody was cheering for it

2020-12-05 02:27:44 UTC

Yes. It's not entirely the president's fault

2020-12-05 02:27:52 UTC

imagine going to school 😭 uni are 100% online now

2020-12-05 02:27:55 UTC

"Ou but you have to follow the guidelines you selfish brat" -any liberal who cant see the obvious hypocrisy

2020-12-05 02:28:03 UTC

It's not at all the president's fault

2020-12-05 02:28:08 UTC

School has been screwed over by this virus

2020-12-05 02:28:21 UTC

Good. I hate that place

2020-12-05 02:28:24 UTC

what's the apology supposed to be about?

2020-12-05 02:28:56 UTC

why would you need to explain yourself? it's ENCOURAGED to question everybody, including Trump

2020-12-05 02:29:08 UTC

Idk just her apologizing for acting racist by making a slanted eyed

2020-12-05 02:29:14 UTC

China downplayed the virus even more

2020-12-05 02:29:15 UTC

What is the president supposed to do? Tell it to stop and it’ll stop? Trump has taken plenty of steps to handle this virus. That’s my view on it

2020-12-05 02:29:23 UTC

Ahh that was supposed to be a reply oops

2020-12-05 02:29:42 UTC

if you got test positive the first time and had to quarantine, not re-test early (ie. 3 days into the quarantine) and are still positive, the 2nd positive test still counts as a new case

2020-12-05 02:29:46 UTC

Replying to @jtlan

2020-12-05 02:29:58 UTC

Still, Trump is not a dictator. We don't want to make such a precedent

2020-12-05 02:30:27 UTC

If anyone is it’s the governors, since they got control over that

2020-12-05 02:30:33 UTC

I'll only give a damn about cases if the people are actually ill

2020-12-05 02:30:47 UTC

mainly it was states powers, since pandemics aren't really stated in the constitution

2020-12-05 02:30:50 UTC

yup. like i say, i like science and laws & order. but when the same "experts" violate the laws they set without explanation, i don't trust them. sorry. my common sense will serve me better

2020-12-05 02:31:20 UTC

how anybody comes to the conclusion that it's trump's fault is beyond my mind lol
