yeah. i'm all for advancements and tech. but something that just developed in 2018 yet somehow are trusted enough for the biggest vaccine rollout in history, i'll be skeptical and cautious.

the mRNA vaccine got developed/discovered only in 2018 and i haven't been able to learn a lot of info on it. i'll be interested to see where the HIV experimental treatment goes

I think it different because the mRNA is already edited, but the CRISPR/Cas9 does the editing once its already in the body.

from my vague understanding, mRNA kind of "triggers" certain parts of the mRNA and encourage/block certain elements of protein production. CRISPR is actual editing DNA

I guess the mRNA wedges it self while the DNA is replicating, and CRISPR edits the full DNA before replication

nvm the mRNA is sent to ribosomes to be turned into the protein and has no interaction with the DNA. Too many types of RNA to keep track of.

yeah. mRNA specifically only targets protein production (according to my Grade 12 Biology level-understanding anyway). still, hormones are proteins -- so lord knows what are these shot can change
