they base it upon the theory that capitalism was developed when it was implemented so will socialism
I like to imagine a world where communism did not exsist at all.
The world is a better place if no communists or socialists existed, *unequivocally*
Exactly!
Social democracy is a good start to fix capitalism.
@🐦Lt.SEC🐝 if you look at it as marx wrote it, for the next 300 years or so, definately, after that, I do not know
Look at Sweden, Finland, they’re pretty developed with their social democracy
Me to. I am kinda clueless also.
Right now, nationalism and populism are winning, not socialism. Socialism will be eventually tried again, just that not today.
so you disagree with pure socialism?
nationalism is bad, patriotism is good, agreed?
@Simpnautica please define that term
Stalin, Lenin, Mao, they all had interpretations of socialism.
I just see it as an informal way of governing
Not exactly a good form of government though
i mean the google definition. no private property
Yeah...
that's not good
ok fair enough. social democracy seems to be a ok system
Yeah, it actually works
It never is, because it devolves into factional warring
nah she/he is saying yeah to disagreeing with it
or are you not?
There's a saying that socialism redistributes what capitalism makes
I can see that.
Oh hello chaz, haven't seen you in a while
Which means that most socialist states were actually state capitalist.
Like China is today.
you agree with pure socialism though?
Yeah, because socialism eventually runs out of other peoples money
That’s literally the point. A cashless society.
without cash then how do you evaluate the cost of something
But where does a cashless society leave us?
Thx
That’s the idea, we don’t know. We’ll only have to find out if we did actually try it out.
Running out of money to steal is different than eliminating physical money
Usually the value of our money is determined by gold
Correct me if I'm wrong 😂
The gold standard sadly no longer exists
😔
but answer tho... how do you determine the cost of something without cash?
