yeah, there is a giant downside, learning the old languages:
they are dead languages ... besides reading the old texts, they have no everyday use ...
applies to latin and old greek (bc new greek seems to be different, too)
New here, just assessing the situation, I feel the same way as most of u in theory. But I’m hesitant because I don’t know what type of place this is. But happy to meet all of u.
