Freemasonry is just a part of a big set of fraternities. It's not on its own
"Make good men better" has two meanings. Exoteric and esoteric. You will not get the esoteric meaning until you're at least a 32nd degree Freemason
Eh all fraternities and secret societies have their things in common. Its why I look more towards the history of each for a more clear answer, but even then the histories of all of them are muddied in one way or another.

Freemasonry IS related to Luciferianism. Don't listen to weirdos who say Freemasons are reptiles or what not. But there is a relation to the luciferian doctrine. Luciferians don't believe in any god, they believe in human intelligence and nature and seek to improve it.
