The panic over the Y2K bug: Complete hoax.
Climate change apocalyse: Complete hoax.
Covid-19: Complete hoax.
Unicorns: Complete hoax.
Honest politicians: Complete hoax.
Reality TV: Complete hoax.
I've been hoax'd so many times, it's starting to get old.
Agree
I just want the government to SHUT UP and let me live my life.
Amen brother
Fuck your lockdowns, fuck your mask mandates, fuck your social distancing, fuck your fear mongering, fuck your bullshit!
Also unicorns are real
If somebody on CNN announced "It's the end of the world!", I would reply:
"AGAIN!?!?"
I think Rudy et al. did right in that PC other day; just laugh at them.
OH YES when Rudy Giuliani laughed at the CNN person? Hahahahahaha. 💯
Yeah the fact it was so genuine was really priceless lol
If I were in Rudy's spot, I think I would put on extra theatrics, fall to the ground and appear to die while laughing maniacally. 😂
All just to rub it in their face even harder.
Yeah I mean they are the worst, but dude it's ALL MSM everywhere. It's literally mind boggling. There's a video on twitter - 18 yr old kid chocked out by bouncer , dropped on ground (fairly solidly) and thrown out door
Caption was "not wearing mask", turns out that might not be the reason as they allege he climbed back over a fence
But point being it was in AUS and all their news uses the same damn headline and story
If I were in Trump's spot, I'd drop F-bombs on live TV when the MSM asked me for the 39th time to condemn white supremacy. "You've asked me the same fucking question 39 times, why don't you come up with some new material?"
Right. Yeah .. that's the tricky bit he's only human
and their tactics even work on him too where like, he just gets strained and like you could see it in debate he was like "Fuck that question I want to push biden on this topic"
and naturally they go "GOTCHA AH HA! WE KNEW IT"
Insane. My lefty friend from HS gets on PC at 5am like "Couldn't sleep scare of the rise of white supremacy"
Trump is probably better at the job than I am. I'd just be like "Why don't you roll the tape from the last time you asked? NEXT QUESTION PLEASE."
He was citing said incident he was staged Trump could not "simply deny it"
and it's like, fuck if their BS doesn't work on a lot of smart people
Yeah, it's called gaslighting.
It's just insanely effective
Eventually my response would just be "Deja vu".
Yeah I do wish um we could hire some folks to assist in that process
BUt you know
I think to your real point -- it woulnd't matter
Like when Crowder goes around showing folks that NC video (first in clip then in entirety)
and he's like "Change you mind at all there?" most say "a tiny bit" like they are still unwilling to accept
When solid proof still isn't enough, I give up.
Well naturally folks need time to process the tear down
and more over it actually has to really be like inception
e.g. "Fake news" versus "What if the news isn't always the truth?"
Like they kinda need to be the genesis of the transformation versus we externalize that for them if that makes sense. IMO anyways
Well yeah... it took me a while to even _consider_ questioning germ theory. It had been so deepy ingrained in my head, repeated so often, "catch" a cold, "catch" a flu. Viruses allegedly floating around in the air. Invisible, undetectable, untraceable. Then suddenly...
"What if everything I've been taught... is bullshit?"
Right you know it's ironic you say that because a lot of lefties I know do subscribe to that concept of like subjective truth, which you would think would lend to actually more willingness to actually entertain opposing views but oddly indirectly I think validates their stance -- as I guess they believe in their "superior reasoning" they have already conjectured the absolute truth by virtue of it's 'consensus'
The "consensus" argument has no weight. Even if Flat Earth was believed to be accurate via consensus, it would still not be the truth.
Oh I for sure agree yeah and often make exactly that counter point when discussing. e.g. slavery was at one point "consensus" does that make it right?
That tends to break their brain a bit
