I was helping my 8th grade nephew with his homework & in doing a “constitution scavenger hunt” I was reminded that quelling riots is a federal power
well yes and no
the federal power was mostly a dem sided position
putting down insurrections on the other hand was a constitutional power
I get why the riots have not been 100% quelled because it might actually get nasty around election time. And we might not even know who are president is for gap of time. Who knows, that might even be a strategy they're doing to make sure nobody riots when they realize Trump is the president. They're announcing it slowlllllly
