most of us use information to support our worldviews, rather than form / change them.
For me, if I want to be more knowledgeable on a subject I just research on my own
Like in our Social Studies class our teachers are trying to tell us America is such a racist and evil country and the kids eat that shit up
It really scares me
I think I made a good statement on the politics-current-events channel just a few minutes ago
Really, I think they're the racists
^relevant to what you just said
Yeah that is pretty good about what BLM actually is and what they really want
But also about them being racist
They use black people as pawns to make themselves feel righteous
I have been called a racist so many times I don't even flinch when someone calls me that anymore
all while ignoring the real issues
The word has no meaning anymore
The boy who cried wolf
I said that to one of my liberal friends and he had a melt-down
BLM just ignores what actually goes on and virtue signals about basic lefty views
Anyway, I'm heading out for the day. Serious about that minecraft DM.
I just hate spending time with my "friends" because they lowkey hate me and poke fun at me all the time
That goes for anyone, btw.
See ya
Well you'll find better friends before you know it.
It just seems like forever when you're young.
Youll find them in the most unlikely of times
My coworker is a Black man with a High School education who grew up in Philly. He works nearly 50 hours a week and knows the value of hard work. We occasionally talk about real world events so I asked him what his opinion on Kanye was. He was wondering why that was even getting any attention to begin with and proceeded to tell me all the reasons he wanted Trump to win this year. Trump 2020
They dont even need to be in person, the closest people i know are all people i know online
Isn't it wonderful how the internet has changed things
So many events wouldn't happen without it
Interesting how it's affected politics too
Ok but straight up @[TDE] Smokie Pocahontas the movie is the most beautiful lie I've ever seen and I can't even be mad at it
Lol!
Agreed
It's literally a giant heaping pile of lies and hypocricy yet I love it
Its on the same page as my last relationship
A beautiful lie...
😔
🤣
As is the Greatest Showman, another heaping pile of beautiful lies that make my heart warm and fuzzy
I havent seen that yet
Ngl I cried in the theater and it isn't even well written
It's just super cute
