@Red Jasper I actually don't care much for people that make the conflation of saying something calmly somehow means it's rational.

I've had too many encounters irl with people that magically believe if something is said calmly, no matter how outlandish or absurd it is, somehow makes it rational.

They make up a group of the most narcissistic people.

If what someone is saying is sound, it's sound by the context and practical application of what is said, not how " calmly " it's said.

Take for example Lindsay Graham's heated monologue during the Kavanaugh hearings. That was hardly calm, but absolutely practical with the highest resolve.
