Remember how nobody had a problem with the Confederate flag being a southern pride symbol back when *The Dukes of Hazzard* debuted, but when some white person killed a bunch of black people it suddenly became a racist symbol and that show needs to be called out?

That happens with everything.

The left never seems to care until other people do.

You'd think that somehow archaeologists and historians didn't discover that the Civil War was all about slavery until Dylann Roof did his crime.

It's like, "Gee, our nation had a civil war, and a lot of people died, and this flag was the symbol of the side that lost. But we have no idea why they had the war in the first place. It's puzzling."

I saw a meme in Zed's latest video that said loggers are better at preserving the environment than environmentalists. I'm curious on more details on this. It seems counterintuitive that people who cut down trees for a living can actually be helping the environment, but I've learned that intuition isn't always correct on these things.

My best guess is that capitalism motivates them to keep their jobs, so they plant new trees as they cut down old ones rather than cutting all the trees and being out of a job forever.
