Putting up with them is dehumanizing

And exhausting

I never understood not all DMVs were absolutely terribly inefficient and lazy places till I went to the DMV in the rural town I'm going to for college and was able to at 10:30 get in and upgrade my driver's license to the star so you can continue to use it to fly and get in federal buildings but also get my concealed carry permit all in less then 30 minutes. When I told my father, he said it may be worth it for him to drive four and a half hours across the state just to go to the DMV here next time. 🤣

Lol yea.... the dmv near me i make an appointment ahead of time

The DMV near where I grew up would stop accepting new people an hour and a half before closing.

On Fridays it would even be two hours before closing so they could guarantee they would be done at the end of the shift.
