> I am currently pursuing retirement
@jerpeau it would be nice to have all the hard decisions already made 😢

2020-10-19 03:04:52 UTC

Opportunies are often covered in obstacles. Keep your chin up. Itll come

2020-10-19 03:05:56 UTC

Good advice

2020-10-19 03:07:09 UTC

Me being right is too stereotypical 😩 @Kaladin

2020-10-19 03:08:43 UTC

Lol yeah

2020-10-19 03:13:17 UTC

I never wanted retirement; it kneecapped me while I wasn't looking.

2020-10-19 03:19:16 UTC

Don't a lot of people who retire get really bored because they have been working their whole life and don't know what to do with all their free time?

2020-10-19 03:22:11 UTC

Pretty much.

2020-10-19 03:22:58 UTC

I lost my work and my ability to legally drive at about the same time, so it's sitting at home in the middle of nowhere for me.

2020-10-19 03:23:34 UTC

Thats my retirement plan 👆

2020-10-19 03:24:20 UTC

Wow

2020-10-19 03:24:37 UTC

> Thats my retirement plan 👆
@jerpeau you want to lose your ability to drive when you retire

2020-10-19 03:24:58 UTC

Nothing wrong with it, but I didn't get a choice in it, nor the timing.

2020-10-19 03:25:33 UTC

Do you have a friend that drives you places?

2020-10-19 03:26:06 UTC

My parents. I get into town about once a week, to a city about once every few months.

2020-10-19 03:26:33 UTC

Im just saying I want to move futher into nowhere.

2020-10-19 03:26:53 UTC

Ah ok good plan @jerpeau

2020-10-19 03:26:58 UTC

Oh, *that* I can heartily agree with.

2020-10-19 03:27:18 UTC

If I could still drive, I'd be fine with all this.

2020-10-19 03:27:28 UTC

That's actually not to bad @DishonoredRonin

2020-10-19 03:27:47 UTC

Have you thought about moving closer to a town?

2020-10-19 03:28:02 UTC

Nearest town is six miles away.

2020-10-19 03:28:26 UTC

Also, my family owns the six acres we live on, and I own my own house.

2020-10-19 03:29:17 UTC

Heh. And I doubt I'll find another two-story, six bedroom farmhouse for $2,500.

2020-10-19 03:30:38 UTC

Okay I'm reading $2,500........how?

2020-10-19 03:31:02 UTC

Easy. I had to move it.

2020-10-19 03:31:40 UTC

I'm so confused

2020-10-19 03:31:50 UTC

It's also South Dakota. Things are cheap up here.

2020-10-19 03:32:55 UTC

The house itself cost $2,500. Getting the ground and foundation set up, the actual 11 mile move, and all the utilities and such in cost a total of $35, 000.

2020-10-19 03:33:20 UTC

Okay that makes more sense

2020-10-19 03:33:33 UTC

For a minute I thought you was talking about a mobile home but then I was like how can that be two stories

2020-10-19 03:33:38 UTC

But still, this is a solid house.

2020-10-19 03:33:48 UTC

Still that's super cheap at least for my area

2020-10-19 03:34:22 UTC

Oh, there's cheaper. I passed up an oak interior farmhouse for free, because it was 40 miles away, and had to be moved.

2020-10-19 03:35:08 UTC

Hmm if I didn't like the south so much

2020-10-19 03:35:11 UTC

LOL

2020-10-19 03:35:28 UTC

South Dakota is great if you can stand the cold and isolation.

2020-10-19 03:35:42 UTC

Accent

2020-10-19 03:36:00 UTC

LOL Not me, Ninni. I'm not from here.

2020-10-19 03:36:19 UTC

No this is off topic

2020-10-19 03:36:20 UTC

Eww cold us Southerners can't bear that
