Iām in college now though
Because you work at Chick-fil-A
You have higher goals than me lol
Nice lol
> I am currently pursuing retirement
@jerpeau it would be nice to have all the hard decisions already made š¢
Opportunies are often covered in obstacles. Keep your chin up. Itll come
Good advice
Me being right is too stereotypical š© @Kaladin
Lol yeah
I never wanted retirement; it kneecapped me while I wasn't looking.
Don't a lot of people who retire get really bored because they have been working their whole life and don't know what to do with all their free time?
Pretty much.
I lost my work and my ability to legally drive at about the same time, so it's sitting at home in the middle of nowhere for me.
Thats my retirement plan š
Wow
> Thats my retirement plan š
@jerpeau you want to lose your ability to drive when you retire
Nothing wrong with it, but I didn't get a choice in it, nor the timing.
Do you have a friend that drives you places?
My parents. I get into town about once a week, to a city about once every few months.
Im just saying I want to move futher into nowhere.
Oh, *that* I can heartily agree with.
If I could still drive, I'd be fine with all this.
That's actually not to bad @DishonoredRonin
Have you thought about moving closer to a town?
Nearest town is six miles away.
Also, my family owns the six acres we live on, and I own my own house.
Heh. And I doubt I'll find another two-story, six bedroom farmhouse for $2,500.
Okay I'm reading $2,500........how?
Easy. I had to move it.
I'm so confused
It's also South Dakota. Things are cheap up here.
The house itself cost $2,500. Getting the ground and foundation set up, the actual 11 mile move, and all the utilities and such in cost a total of $35, 000.
Okay that makes more sense
For a minute I thought you was talking about a mobile home but then I was like how can that be two stories
But still, this is a solid house.
Still that's super cheap at least for my area
Oh, there's cheaper. I passed up an oak interior farmhouse for free, because it was 40 miles away, and had to be moved.
Hmm if I didn't like the south so much
LOL
South Dakota is great if you can stand the cold and isolation.
