I've been thinking about listening to Metallica

Everyone always says it's so good

Fade To Black was the first song I found to characterize my personal situation

The Call of Ktulu got me to slow down my mind, to enjoy the walk home

Fade to black sounds like it's depressing

It's not, it brings a tear to my eye everytime I listen

It’s a really beautiful song

The only other 80's ballad that compares is Megadeth's *In My Darkest Hour*

Ironically enough, the first songs I listened to were from load and reload with those two songs being the only ones I have from those album

I feel as if RTL was the one where Cliff was really able to shine

And after pulling teeth in Kill em all, people wanted anything to do with cliff

And Justice For All is such an amazing album

Just like Death Magnetic and Hardwired To Self Destruct

Yeah. I wonder how AJFA would’ve been if Cliff was still around

I’d love to hear some extra bass action on Blackened or Harvester of Sorrow

I wouldn't change a thing because I already love it so much

Yeah it’s one of the best metal albums in general

The only modified album I listen to is Death Magnetic, were someone replaced the drums

I occasionaly listen to And justice for Jason and a slightly modded Saint Anger without so much snare but I feel like the snare is what makes St Anger, St anger

Perhaps, but the album would not be so grating if the production wasn't chock full of sawdust

I spent a solid month listening to Death Magnetic, but had to switch to the redrum

I mean I only have St anger and All within my hands from St anger so it’s not like I listen to the snare that often

Yeah DM is really great and I’m a bit sad that the songs on BM are almost never talked about

Hate Train would fit perfectly on DM

Beyond Magnetic contains songs that should not have been cut

My brother explained to me that they have a different flow, due partly to Kirk writing the main riff

That makes sense

any drop tuning fans....
