I think this concept has broader implications though:

It's such an easy trap to fall into, and I think both "the right' and "the left" are guilty of it

Though I think the left is being driven to the left much faster...as their heirarchy incentivizes constant change for the sake of change itself (rather than any definite end-goal)

Especially when gays do it, like...our Ancestors fought so hard NOT to make us a pariah, and what do they do? Parades, June Pride Month, protests when we're suppose to honor the memory of our Ancestors who fought so hard for our equality.
