And to be exact, it wasn’t a colony.
They simply covered that territory in world war 2.
WW2?
What
Before that there was the russian Japanese war
Manchuria was occupied by the russians far before WW2
But they lost, so...
Didn’t Russia colonise Alaska
Then sold it to America
Yeah but no indians were oppressed
Of course, they were eskimos not Indians
No eskimos were oppressed either
Yeah they were
What
If we are classifying being pushed out of your land as oppression
Yes
Honestly, the sole nations that were put under sovietic influence were the countries of Eastern Europe. But they are all white race populated so, once again, no white guilt.
The moral of the story is: if you are being white-shamed or privilege-checked, pretend to be a Slavic man.
Then only the Alaskan eskimos can get you
Personally I just prefer telling them to fuck off, but to each their own
So native Americans are guilty too. lol
I nevet read about russians pushing eskimos out of alaska
Just because they got shafted twice doesn’t mean Russians didn’t shaft them
It just meant they got shafted twice
In fact i read that alaskan eskimos were peacefully converted to ortrodox christianity
So if I peacefully convert you to Islam is that oppression
Check out the tv series “the terror” for some cool Eskimo culture footage
Eskimos were very pacific. They were the bullied kids of all native tribes.
If you don’t covert I do have the means to eliminate you btw
So better be peaceful
@_KATO_
Thanks. I will definitely check that out.
Hold up
Eyo
If coverting pagans to christianity is oppression then all white people were oppressed by the jews
Converting them under the threat of force
I would call oppression yes
They bring people armed into your land, set up camps then tell you to convert. You knowing that if you don’t they can well and truely wipe you out
If they send a monk to you and say here’s what Jesus did, that’s different
Christians hope to convert by example. Lead by example. At least today. Maybe not in the past
Eskimos have an interesting mythology. They used to put family beefs in their stories. It was some kind of satire, in which they could talk about a tribe member that had harmed them without referring to him directly. They hid him in the form of a monster character of their myths.
