but Latin america is open to small socialism
But what I’m saying is
we have medicare for all here in my country for example .....
Almost every time when a country tries to move towards socialism
@Dragoncrash you keep saying regime
The euro-American capitalists topple their governments and install despots
it really annoys me
Just to clarify
I am lost
Ok then i guess government is a better word then regime
Sorry ill be more direct in my language
I the latin american country I live in now we have also have medicare for all and its the worst EVER.
Also it says especially an authoritarian one but does not necessitate authoritarianism
you dont have Medicare for all 124c
You have universal healthcare
Those are not the same thing
castro had a go reading program though
So, there have been authoritarian leaders toppled by the US.
But it's a bad thing?
Apparently?
and what coutry do you think i live in?
Well Kyros
im not in canada anymore
That’s where analysis comes into play
Lets take Iran as a case study
Keep in mind I'm sleepy
@124c41 I agree. It sucks. but what happens is that people (in my country at least) like the idea of medicare for all and it is unpopular to criticise it
you assume too much
Will do my best
who knows what happened when Iran tried to nationalize their oil sector?
BP and the CIA toppled their elected leader (I’m blanking on what his name was right now as I’m tired as well) and replaced him with the Shah
The Shah was a brutal dictator who repressed the domestic population and opened Iranian oil production to heavily favor western capitalists
The citizens were surveiled constantly and their civil and human rights violated constantly
in my counrty people died under medicare for all because the workers where so stupid they refused to treate patients just out of fear and lack of equipement.
in my country the medicare workers WENT ON STRIKE
