2020-10-19 15:38:40 UTC

2020-10-19 15:39:06 UTC

Last time I had to,fight the government was at the DMV

2020-10-19 15:39:06 UTC

I don't give personal information. @martypete, but clearly you guys don't understand how the US law is written. The Title that is being referenced is specific to Judiciary and Judicial Procedure. I'm not going to have you "CTRL + F" to find this, I am going to tell you it, since you can't seem to read. Furthermore, the code is specific to the US as a Federal Debt Collector.

2020-10-19 15:39:46 UTC

"Municipal corporation. A body corporate consisting of the inhabitants of a designated area created by the legislature with or without the consent of such inhabitants for governmental purposes . . ."

2020-10-19 15:39:55 UTC

As used in this chapter...look at the chapter boys.

2020-10-19 15:40:13 UTC

Ok @Atari if I am an employee of the United States, why didn’t they give me my 30 minute break yesterday?

2020-10-19 15:40:20 UTC

not funny didnt laugh

2020-10-19 15:40:22 UTC

I stepped away for a few minutes, and we're still talking about this?

2020-10-19 15:40:33 UTC

my bad, what's happening?

2020-10-19 15:42:03 UTC

@martypete My suggestion: Let's do a thought experiment of what would happen if illegal drugs were made legal.

Edit - added the martypete tag and the "My suggestion:" text

2020-10-19 15:42:12 UTC

the etymology of the word attorney is attornment

2020-10-19 15:42:19 UTC

No random links.

2020-10-19 15:42:21 UTC

which means to give property from one to another

2020-10-19 15:43:08 UTC

paying taxes on property means you don't own it, if you truly owned it you wouldn't have to owe anyone anything

2020-10-19 15:43:12 UTC

So basically what’s the significance of all of this? How long has that law been on the books? if what you were saying is even correct, what does it matter @Atari

2020-10-19 15:43:21 UTC

if everyone pays property taxes, what does that mean? nobody owns anything

2020-10-19 15:43:33 UTC

no private property, the same in socialism

2020-10-19 15:43:47 UTC

it's a feudal society

2020-10-19 15:43:52 UTC

But we do have private property

2020-10-19 15:43:56 UTC

you pay taxes on it

2020-10-19 15:44:15 UTC

why do you owe someone taxes, if you truly own it yourself

2020-10-19 15:44:46 UTC

I mean because the government wants to make money off of tax.

2020-10-19 15:45:01 UTC

the house is in your name. its yours. you just have to pay it off on the land it is built on

2020-10-19 15:46:24 UTC

you don't entirely own it

2020-10-19 15:46:39 UTC

i understand what you're saying there, Atari, from a philosophical standpoint. If you want to go that deep, owning private property isn't really a thing. private property rights are recorded and arbitrated by the government.

2020-10-19 15:46:55 UTC

so what you're saying could be correct from a certain perspective, but that's not how the world works.

2020-10-19 15:47:00 UTC

okay but there is no government, it's a corporation

2020-10-19 15:47:06 UTC

it functions and behaves as a business
