As used in this chapter...look at the chapter boys.
Ok @Atari if I am an employee of the United States, why didn’t they give me my 30 minute break yesterday?
not funny didnt laugh
I stepped away for a few minutes, and we're still talking about this?
my bad, what's happening?
@martypete My suggestion: Let's do a thought experiment of what would happen if illegal drugs were made legal.
Edit - added the martypete tag and the "My suggestion:" text
the etymology of the word attorney is attornment
No random links.
which means to give property from one to another
paying taxes on property means you don't own it, if you truly owned it you wouldn't have to owe anyone anything
So basically what’s the significance of all of this? How long has that law been on the books? if what you were saying is even correct, what does it matter @Atari
if everyone pays property taxes, what does that mean? nobody owns anything
no private property, the same in socialism
it's a feudal society
But we do have private property
you pay taxes on it
why do you owe someone taxes, if you truly own it yourself
I mean because the government wants to make money off of tax.
the house is in your name. its yours. you just have to pay it off on the land it is built on
you don't entirely own it
i understand what you're saying there, Atari, from a philosophical standpoint. If you want to go that deep, owning private property isn't really a thing. private property rights are recorded and arbitrated by the government.
so what you're saying could be correct from a certain perspective, but that's not how the world works.
okay but there is no government, it's a corporation
it functions and behaves as a business
@Atari i’m also confused about what you mean by we are owned by the East India trading company. Because that is clearly not a thing
it's a franchise
i think you and everyone else will be talking in circles about this
i posted one of my references
We are not a franchise.
you're an employee of a franchise
you're not *a* franchise
So what you’re saying is that east India trading company is corporate, and the United States is a franchise And I am an employee of the United States?
that's what i've been saying
I'd rather work for US of A than anywhere else.
Well that’s wrong...
the USA is an actual country
the US is a corporation
Can someone link that one meme about "The Resistance" with all the corporations and MSM on one side, and just a sad dude on the other side, that Tyler showed in a Try Not To Laugh video?
I can't find it using Google (Go figure!)
Oh, and Hi, I'm new here
hello
