$5 FPGA
looks kinda neat
lol
those under screen fingerprint readers are optical though, right?
Yeah
Basically Samsung has a flaw where any screen protector or transparent case can bypass the fingerprint scanner

Is it actually possible to use a 2 GB laptop/convertible today
Seems like windows 10 will only get more bloat over time
Will getting LTSC solve this
no
also ltsc does not come with touchscreen stuff iirc
i could be wrong these days
@Aqualiteking B450-F gaming is better tho than tomahawk afaik

and when it comes to ram anything faster mhz/timing= better pretty much works these days (unlike first gen ryzens had at start)
no more b-die hunting BS really (you might still benefit minimalisticly from it if you have money to throw away ??)
i know;_; specialy if im in hurry
i should focus more on the stuff i write (and proofread it before sending :P)
there was a roundup of most of the higher end (11 of them) x570 boards and it turns out if you account for the same timings and frequency, there is less than a ~10% CPU performance in production workloads (e.g. blender) and less than 4% for gaming, but consider the fact that the best performing motherboard is *$370*, the 4th best is $190. If youre just on ryzen 2nd gen then most people recommend getting the b450 tomahawk max, but i can't personally speak for the performance of it
that being said, i have the cheapest x570 board right now and my computer hasn't blown up yet
the only problem i've ran into is that I can't get the same overclocks as other people using the same exact ram, but it could just be silicon lottery
also when you are making your choice, account for all the things Connectivity wise (m.2,usb,fan header slots) and ofc audio/ethernet chipsets
ethernet wise the chipsets tend to be between 2 choices intel or realtek chipsets what does not really matter as both the offered chipsets are good for normal use (intel is generaly regarded as better option if you aim for homelab stuff)
just remember to space words out and you'll be fine
I am happy with my b360 mobo but if I had gone with ryzen I would have probably gotten a b350

adventures in chinese hardware
It's chinky, but letting older/specialized hardware work on consumer tech is a good way to stop it from going to waste
it's the best way to deal with e-waste
even that chinese mystery mainboard with components from other boards is interesting

inside scoop: there's hexa core versions coming soon™
