it was one of my first purchases on ali iirc
its shit
I've had some absolutely fucking awful clippers that leave my nails shitty. Always had a bad habit of biting them, so I try to keep them not-shitty so I don't do that. I have the Klhip and it's actually fucking awesome. I wouldn't have paid MSRP for it though.
use something like this
Don't remember what I paid, but found it cheap on Ebay or Amazon I think.
Was hoping a good clone existed, wanted to get one for someone.
I use the scissors on my swiss army knife, clipper users are barbarians
They work well for nipping little stuff, depending on what you're doing. Doesn't seem unreasonable for the EDC types.
Nail file is part of the reason I EDC my Leatherman Micra instead of Skeletool.
perfect for superhero Captain Kudzu who has the superpower of inconveniently fast growing fingernails
with separated file too
and small scrissors
sadly someone niggered it/ it has dropped somewhere in my travels
my name is yoshikage kira and I need a nail cutter on me at all tkmes
and never found identical to add on my travel gear
My dad has a nice little set like that. Can still find them, but they're usually gimmicky shit ones though.
Heck i could make one myself most likely
construction is simple enough problem would be sourcing those scrissor hardware if not outright stealing them from multitools
@Windatica Hot damn man, thanks. Guess I gotta figure out Taobao!
i mean, it has 0 reviews and 0 purchases
you're basically gambling that $25-$35 away
If you buy that, you're a fuckin' dipshit.
Never used Taobao, how does the pricing work? I know you gotta get an agent, but I don't know what that involves or how it's priced.
at least it looks like a "chinese original" product and not a completely blatant rip off in the sense that it doesnt comes from klhip themselves
thank you "Liro" brand nail clippers
you can choose not to use taobao agents but you might have issues where your card gets declined
Yeah, and the original is just 440C stainless, so it ain't anything too fancy
Ah, why $25-$35 then?
so when i bought clothes off taobao the final cost (price+shipping) ended up basically doubling the price of the entire order
if you buy small things you can choose to have them sent by a small packet but it depends on the agent you use and if they're willing to ship via cheap methods
also you have to pay $1-$4 for domestic shipping within china
Jesus, I thought price was one of the big reasons to use Taobao.
it still is, but it depends on the things you buy
also that shipping is for an entire haul of items and not just 1 item
like i have the fake goyard card holder that i got for $4 + $4 shipping and even though i paid "double" for the item, its still not $300
