Personally I don't think they're racist unless they're actually racist. Like if the Indians mascot started drinking whiskey and gambling before attempting to scalp an opponent, then it's maybe a bit racist.

@Emerald if the mascot propogates a falsity or stereotype (such as casinos, drinking, or otherwise disrespecting their dignity) of the Native American people then by all means it needs to be removed. If it otherwise simply utilizes some aspect about them or their cutlure (such as the warrior mentality or traditional headdress) then it is not offensive and therefore should not be taken down

It doesn't. The Land O Lakes native American lady wasn't racist but they got rid of her, now there's one less example of representation in every day life.
