@Smitty rifle or handgun? Rifle is probably 45-70 just because I don't own a 50 and have never shot one so I can't judge that, also my henry rifle is my pride and joy. I mean 5.56 is what I use more along with 7.62 so of those I'd prolly pick 5.56 just because I like the modularity of my ar. As far as handguns I like 45 acp. For concealed however I have a .380 that's more than practical enough. 9mm is my range go to for handguns tho... Sorry if that was a shitty answer 😅
