doesnt matter, if you're driving legally and with your full attention it's assumed you should be able to hit the brakes or avoid a person

if you can't do that then you're not driving safe enough

They cant see you behind bus, breaking at 40km/h speed is few meters

You pop up without looking, and they are 2meters from you

That could be considered jumping in front of car on purpose
