800 is nice if you tend to keep your pencil in pants pocket

since it has the retractable lead sleeve

otherwise 600 is all the pencil you could want

it feels so fucking nice in the hand actually life-changing if you either write a lot or want to make yourself write more/better

also for drafting if you're oldschool enough to do that manually

Never saw an 800 that didn't require tuning, sure it has more features but it's at the expense of something that works.

getting a rotring800 is like getting a ryzen 1800x, like yeah okay but why didn't you save a hundred bucks and slightly OC a 1700
