to unlock bootloader for rooting you have to register to chinaman cloud service, forum, then explicltly have to request xiaomi jackie chong to unlock the bootloader and state your reasons why you want to do it. if you're lucky they sooner or later send you a confirmation sms that implies that guarantee is voided but im not going to send that shit to india or indonesia if anything breaks anyway
