My monitor also has HDMI 2.0
"Chinese shopping boys, I'm killing myself"
"cya"
So I could probably just switch from DP to HDMI 2.0
Yeah that's a thing
yeah I have a chink DP to HDMI adapter
it's good
Should I get the OC version of the 1030?
MSI one has a DP so you can drive two 4k monitors if you want
OC is pretty minimal on GT 1030 as far as I remember
I helped my friend pick one
OC is not all that much faster, with Nvidia you want to focus on a better cooling solution so it automatically turbos higher under load
I found one 1030 with a DP
I'd say MSI although their cards have the highest failure rates
Just for dual 4k
that looks nice
It's such a little lowly chip, it doesn't need a huge cooler
It's so cute
if all you're doing is outputting video to monitors you don't really need an OC
the OC is actually cheaper than the non-OC
should I go for non-OC anyway because of stability?
Is it more expensive? Their OCs are usually tested at the factory
the evga ones are the highest clocked at 1.29ghz
all the MSI ones are at 1.26ghz
not like that's a huge jump
I have the choice between 1227 and 1265
while the 1265 is cheaper
This is passively cooled with 1hdmi 1dp?
Amazon does not ship to Switzerland
Ah, ok
yes I found some passive cooled ones, too
Strange, they ship to Australia
there's a lot of them, wow
but I don't mind the noise
the CPU cooler already sounds like a starting jet
I think all the difference in GPUs these days is the customer service if you RMA it
there's not been a lot in it for a while
